Our Approach to Person-Centred Support

At Kingsley, we embrace the concept of person-centred support, it is in our DNA and is how we always approach providing support. It's not just about meeting medical needs; it's about truly understanding each individual's unique personality, preferences, and life journey.

Our tailored adult care services involve taking time to listen and appreciate each person’s perspective; we create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to pursue their dreams.

In our close-knit community at Kingsley, every individual is not just a service user; they're family. We understand that feeling at home goes beyond physical comfort; it's about emotional connection and belonging. That's why our dedicated team goes above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where laughter fills the air, friendships blossom, and memories are made.

Whether it's enjoying a cosy movie night or exploring new hobbies together, there's always something exciting happening at Kingsley. With a focus on encouraging independence and self-expression, we empower each person to live life on their own terms, supported every step of the way by our caring and friendly staff.

Enriching the Lives of Others

Our Learning Disability Strategy is a testament to our unwavering dedication to encouraging a caring and supportive culture. Through innovative approaches and positive risk-taking, we strive to unlock each person’s full potential, helping them lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Led by our innovative PBS practitioner, Jane Foden, our team undergoes specialised training focused on communication, emotional support, and understanding. This means the care and support we provide is person-centred and bespoke to each individual, and sets the foundations for everyone to thrive.

But we don't stop there. Collaboration is key to our success, and we actively partner with families, caregivers, and the wider community to enrich the lives of those we serve. Together, we celebrate achievements, overcome challenges, and create lasting memories. So come on in and join our Kingsley family. Together, we'll create a brighter, more inclusive future where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered.
