Our Approach
to Care

We welcome, embrace and celebrate individuals with learning disabilities, including those with diverse needs or complex conditions such as autism or epilepsy. Through our person-centred approach, we're dedicated to lighting up pathways to a fulfilling life - tailored to each individual's unique journey.

We embrace a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach, which underpins person-centred care and support packages for each individual.

Our Mission

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to staying informed and up-to-date on national policies and guidelines, ensuring our care reflects the latest standards outlined in frameworks like "Building the Right Support."

Our passionate and caring staff members are here to provide support and encourage individuals to chase their dreams and aspirations while safeguarding their well-being by striking the perfect balance between safety and positive risk-taking.

Our innovative care methods for adults aim to create a sense of freedom, safety, and belonging, transforming our spaces into comfortable homes where individuals can truly shine. We believe in empowering every person we support to gain independence and actively engage with their communities so no one ever feels alone or isolated.

A Place to Truly Belong

At our core, we're about connection and belonging. Beyond our doors, we're out there, hand in hand with our community partners, crafting chances for everyone to come together, share, and grow. We believe every voice should be heard, every talent celebrated, and every person loved for who they are. We're not just building a brighter future, we're weaving a tapestry of togetherness and possibility.

For those experiencing behaviours of concern, our compassionate team uses a Positive Behavior Support approach rooted in empathy and compassion. With a commitment to understanding each person's perspective, we must understand the function of each behaviour, and therefore what is being communicated. Once we have established the ‘why’, we can then, using a PBS approach, modify the environment and/or the support, resulting in a more positive outcome.

With our unwavering support and dedication, we work to reduce behaviours of concern which has a positive impact on people's lives, helping them to broaden their horizons and enjoy a wide variety of activities and interests.
